WHAT DOES THE APPOINTMENT FEEL LIKE?

We use fine cannulas/needles and a numbing plan that keeps things comfortable. You’ll feel light pressure or a brief sting in some spots. Most sessions take 30–45 minutes in the chair, and you’re out the door straight after.

WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE – GYM, SHAVING, SAUNA, FLYING ETC?

Keep training light for 24 hours and avoid saunas or very hot environments for 48 hours. If your protocol includes a short self-massage, we’ll show you exactly how and when to do it. Shave gently the next day with a clean blade if the skin isn’t tender. Short flights are fine; for long-haul in the first two days, hydrate and avoid pressure on treated areas. Skipping alcohol for 24 hours helps reduce swelling.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE?

Great for guys who feel their jawline has softened, the mid-face looks a bit deflated, or the skin just isn’t holding like it used to – especially after weight loss or lots of sun. We’ll skip or delay if there’s an active skin infection, recent dental work in the area, or a history of keloid scarring. If you’re on blood thinners or have autoimmune conditions, we’ll plan around that in consult.

IS IT SAFE, AND WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE THE RESULT?

Short-term swelling or small bruises are common and settle quickly. Small lumps can occur if product sits too superficially; we minimise this with correct depth, dilution, and clear aftercare. Biostimulators aren’t instantly reversible, so we build conservatively over staged visits and review each step. If a tweak is needed, we can refine the look with complementary treatments rather than adding bulk.

WHAT IS A BIOSTIMULATOR MADE OF?

Most Biostimulators are made of a smooth gel that carries tiny, medical-grade particles designed to wake up your collagen-making cells. The particles are usually poly-L-lactic acid (the material used in dissolvable stitches) or calcium hydroxylapatite (a mineral similar to bone). They’re biocompatible and gradually break down; the collagen your skin builds in response is what stays and does the work.
